OR is the new product by Buzzi & Buzzi, designed by the renowned international designer Michael Vincent Uy. It is a fusion of classic and modern design, an innovative concept that meets the new demands for comfort, efficiency, and design.
OR stands out for its sculptural shape and advanced engineering approach that characterizes its structure. The main body of the lamp consists of a double pointed disc, which, besides being a visually striking element, serves a practical function thanks to the lateral groove that lightens the aesthetic and promotes an even diffusion of light. The silhouette is tapered, inspired by the curvature of light itself, creating an elegant and dynamic shape.
Made from a single piece of metal with a conical housing, the lamp's body integrates seamlessly with the battery system, ensuring autonomy and ease of use.
One of OR's main innovations lies in its beveled base, which allows the lamp to "float" on the surface, creating a visual effect of lightness and suspension. This design is not only aesthetic but also functional: the base optimizes the lamp's balance and stability without compromising its minimalist look.
One of OR's distinctive features is its touch dimmer interface, which allows the user to easily adjust both the on/off function and light intensity, customizing the experience according to their needs. The entire upper surface of the lamp is touch-sensitive, offering an immediate and intuitive response. This functionality integrates with the LED light source with a diffused beam and a color temperature of 3000K, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
OR has a power consumption of only 2W and is equipped with a battery that lasts approximately 8 hours, even at maximum light intensity. An energy-efficient solution that guarantees high performance in terms of brightness and durability.

After his formative years at Politecnico di Milano, he developed his style working with prestigious international design studios and at the luxury fashion house Dolce&Gabbana. He has designed and collaborated for leading Italian design brands and is currently working on a Luxury Residences tower for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. His experience in the crossroads of architecture, design and fashion is seen in his curation of details and bespoke solutions. Vastly diverse, his portfolio calibrates subtle history with the contemporary, fine details that improves the experience, contrasted spatial harmon, dynamic with a twist of static, and unique hints of the Orient woven with design savoir-faire of the west.
